As we close the chapter on 2024, we wanted to reflect on a year filled with milestones, teamwork, and innovation. Here is what BluEdge associates across the company had to say about their highlights of the past year's successes and a look ahead to the exciting opportunities in 2025.

A Message from Our President: Turning the Corner in 2025

For Doug Magid, President, 2024 laid the groundwork for a transformative year ahead. His optimism and clear vision for the company inspire confidence:

"In 2025, I am determined to see and excited to think about BluEdge ‘turning the corner’ by having clients and potential clients seeing all that we do. We’ll achieve that by growing our salesforce to leverage the momentum that we already have. We’ve built a great engine, and now we need our target markets to see that fully. When they do, they are always blown away. So that is our objective."

Doug also emphasized the importance of operational excellence:

"At the same time, we’ll continue to enhance our client experience and become more efficient internally. We will achieve those objectives through upgrading NAV to the most current version and going cloud-based, and by implementing a customized software system for our Experiential and Media businesses."

His confidence in BluEdge’s capabilities and his vision for growth are a testament to the company’s strong foundation:

"The work we’re doing is incredible, and it positions BluEdge as a leader in the industry. I’m confident that 2025 will be a transformative year for us."

Celebrating 2024’s Most Impactful Projects

Throughout the year, BluEdge teams delivered on exciting and diverse client projects. Bryan “BJ” Nendze, Account Executive, reflected on one of his most impactful collaborations:

"The Barilla-Nordstrom NY Jeannie’s Restaurant ‘Takeover’ was such a memorable project. It gave me a chance to see our Fabrication team’s incredible abilities in action. It was a very fun and successful project for our client, especially with the launch of their heart-shaped pasta."

Ruth Hight, Associate, Client Services, highlighted a rewarding project for Cannon Design:

"We worked on ‘Designing Dreams,’ a children’s book to inspire kids to explore architecture. It was so exciting to create life-size standees, postcards, activity boards, banners, and more. The client was thrilled, and it was amazing to see our work come to life."

For Claire Hight, Manager of Commercial Print Services, the AECOM rebranding stood out:

"The most impactful projects this year were AECOM’s rebranding graphics for multiple locations. The Chicago branch was my favorite—they created a lighted arch for their space, and it was incredible to see how our work helped transform their environment."

Developing Skills and Overcoming Challenges

2024 was also a year of personal and professional growth for BluEdge associates. For BJ Nendze, collaboration was the skill that made the biggest impact:

"I’d have to say ‘collaboration.’ Working with multiple departments and locations brought unique challenges that taught me how to manage projects more effectively."

Jeff Jimenez, Director of Regional Sales, shared how learning more about BluEdge’s diverse offerings has enhanced his role:

"This year, I worked with the Carlstadt team to better understand our Experiential Services, BE Media, and Comps offerings. It’s been exciting to dive deeper into our capabilities."

Some challenges pushed associates to innovate and find creative solutions. Claire Hight explained how she tackled the complexities of large-scale projects:

"Keeping big projects on track can be tough, especially when I have to outsource production. I started using Trello and creating client-facing timelines to stay organized and manage deadlines. These tools have been a game-changer."

One Associate took a simple but meaningful approach to improving client communication:

"I’ve started calling clients before sending emails. It’s a small step, but it helps build a stronger personal connection."

Jeff Jimenez reflected on an exciting potential project with the BE Media team:

"We’ve been working on laser scanning, 3D printing, and model building for the historical Bloomfield Train Station. Collaborating with the BE Media team has been insightful and inspiring—it’s been one of my favorite experiences this year."

Desiree Olivera, Sr. Director of Corporate Communications, expressed pride in the company’s digital evolution:

"I’m so proud of how far we’ve come with our website and blog. Being able to showcase all of our offerings in a way that highlights how they work together has been such an accomplishment. The blog gives us a platform to share our stories and expertise with our audience."
