How BluEdge Delivered Large-Scale Experiential Event Graphics in Just Five Days

When Univision needed a trusted partner for fast-turn event graphics production and environmental branding in New York City, BluEdge stepped in to transform Terminal 5 into a fully immersive branded environment... all within five working days.

The annual Univision Upfront presentation is one of the company’s most important live events, bringing together advertisers, media buyers, executives, talent, and major brands to preview upcoming programming and secure future advertising commitments. For events like these, every detail matters, especially the visual experience.

Univision We Get Hispanics 4

After a last-minute shift in direction, Univision needed an experiential graphics partner capable of handling:

  • Large-format event printing
  • Environmental graphics production
  • Temporary venue branding
  • SEG fabric frame displays
  • Floor graphics installation
  • Event signage fabrication
  • Coordinated overnight installation
  • Rapid creative revisions and file handling

BluEdge worked directly with Univision’s creative teams to produce and install more than 60 custom event graphics and environmental branding assets throughout Terminal 5, including approximately 2,200 square feet of temporary vinyl murals, oversized SEG fabric frame displays, branded scenic wraps, floor graphics, entrance transformations, marquee graphics, and step-and-repeat walls.

The Challenge: Large-Scale Event Graphics on an Accelerated Timeline

Producing graphics for live entertainment events requires more than printing capabilities. It demands precise coordination between production teams, installers, scenic fabricators, lighting crews, and venue management.

In this case, final artwork files were still arriving on installation day.

At the same time, multiple vendors were actively working throughout Terminal 5, forcing tightly controlled installation windows and sequencing requirements.

BluEdge’s experiential graphics team coordinated directly with Univision’s in-house creative studio and external designers to keep production moving in real time while maintaining color consistency, print quality, and installation accuracy.

The Solution: Experiential Graphics, Venue Branding, and SEG Display Production

BluEdge transformed the entertainment venue using a combination of custom event signage, environmental branding, large-format printing, and experiential fabrication solutions.

The project included:

  • Marquee front and side graphics
  • Scenic entrance arch wraps
  • Exterior branded returns and façade graphics
  • Large-scale adhesive vinyl installations
  • Wayfinding meterboards and directional signage
  • Vinyl-on-foamcore branded displays
  • SEG fabric frame graphics
  • Oversized step-and-repeat backdrops
  • Bar wraps and hospitality graphics
  • Floor graphics throughout the venue
  • Temporary environmental wall murals
  • Scenic branding integrated throughout the event experience

Several SEG displays measured up to 8 feet by 24 feet, creating high-impact branded visuals throughout the venue.

The environmental branding asset tracker ultimately included more than 60 individual deliverables ranging from small directional signage to oversized architectural graphics and branded scenic elements. The project also required multiple materials and production methods, including adhesive vinyl, snap system vinyl banners, foamcore graphics, fabric displays, and temporary environmental installations.

The event ultimately hosted approximately 700 invited guests, along with hundreds of additional staff, production personnel, and entertainment talent.

Precision Under Pressure

Experiential marketing environments move fast. Success depends on whether production teams can adapt quickly without compromising quality.

To support the aggressive timeline, BluEdge:

  • Conducted on-site substrate testing before production began
  • Managed rolling artwork revisions in real time
  • Coordinated installation schedules around multiple trades
  • Mobilized experienced installation crews during off-hours
  • Shifted production schedules internally to prioritize critical deliverables
  • Maintained virtually zero rejected graphics during production and installation

Because the venue schedule was tightly controlled, installation teams were assigned very specific working windows, often during unconventional hours.

The BluEdge team also conducted on-site substrate testing before production began, ensuring materials would adhere correctly to various venue surfaces without causing damage during removal.

Client Feedback

The success of the project was reflected not only in the final environment, but also in the client response afterward.

“I cannot thank you all enough for the amazing production quality, the dedication, and attention to the tiniest details — all which made this event so special. Would partner with any and all of you again, over and over.”

The Result: A Fully Immersive Branded Event Environment

By the time guests arrived, Terminal 5 had been completely transformed into a polished, camera-ready entertainment experience designed specifically for Univision’s brand and audience.

Guests entered through fully wrapped scenic archways beneath a rebranded marquee before moving into a completely transformed interior environment layered with branded graphics, floor decals, fabric displays, scenic installations, and immersive environmental storytelling.

What started as a bare venue became a layered experiential environment featuring custom environmental graphics, branded architectural elements, oversized fabric displays, scenic wraps, and immersive wayfinding throughout the space.

For fast-paced live events, entertainment activations, Upfront presentations, and branded environments, success comes down to preparation, communication, and execution.

And in this case, BluEdge delivered it all in just five working days.
