Background
BluEdge was tasked with capturing the Landmark Kinmouth Building, located in Asbury Park, NJ. Erected in 1911, this historic building once housed the Savoy Theater. This 5-story building was built by Walter Read with design influenced by the works of Louis Sullivan.
Reality Capture Process
Over the course of one day, BluEdge scanned approx. 65,000 sq. ft. of the Landmark Kinmouth Building, including:
- Interior & Exterior Views
- 5 Stories
- Attic Areas
- Roof
- Basement Areas
Point Cloud Deliverables
After scanning was complete, BluEdge began the post-processing phase. We provided "Architectural Detail" files which includes walls, floors, ceilings, columns, door, and window penetrations.
We provided our client with cleaned and aligned Point cloud files format compatible for import into REVIT, as well as a Revit model.
