Introducing the IDLEWILD Collection
Throwback to when our Media Team had the opportunity to work on an exciting project with American Express and New York or Nowhere for The Barbarian Group. The focus was on the IDLEWILD Collection, a luxury travelwear line from NYON, and we were glad to contribute.
The Goal
Our task was to complete rush retouching for a time-sensitive campaign. We needed to retouch 40 images, using supplied Illustrator art to “screen print” logos onto casual clothing items. These images were to be shared with AMEX’s Instagram followers to vote on their favorite styles.
BluEdge Media’s Approach
The Barbarian Group approached us for this project, asking us to create images with screen-printed logos for NYON’s new travelwear collection. Following the agency's style guides, we carefully placed the logos on various clothing items like T-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants. We also balanced the colors on all logos and backgrounds to ensure a cohesive final look.
The Outcome
The project launched on AMEX's Instagram and received a positive response. After the voting phase, NYON launched the collection on social media, and the inventory sold out in under two days. It was a success for both AMEX and NYON.
Takeaways from the BluEdge Media Team
Despite the tight timeline and heavy workload, the BluEdge Media team worked efficiently to meet the challenge. Our retouching skills were key in completing this project successfully. NYON and The Barbarian Group were pleased with the results, and we look forward to future collaborations.
