Reality Capture Process
BluEdge broke this scanning project down into three phases in order to accommodate ongoing demolition projects throughout the building. Areas of interest included:
-
Interior views of 18 floors
-
Basement
-
Multiple exterior vantage points
Results
After scanning was complete, BluEdge began the post-processing phase. We provided "Architectural Detail" files which includes walls, floors, ceilings, columns, door, and window penetrations.
We provided our client with floor flatness and deviation reports for each floor as well as non-colored, cleaned and aligned Point Cloud data compatible for use in Revit “Recap” Software.
